Our room and the entrance area, stairs etc were all completely brand new - a beautifully done renovation in this old building. The room was huge, well heated and facilities were excellent. Nice big bed, good shower plus tea/coffee, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. We couldn't have been happier (even got the TV going without too much struggle). Lovely staff in the bar, and a great meal there in the evening.

Set in Holt and with Lacock Abbey reachable within 10 km, The Old Ham Tree offers a garden, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a bar.

I have stayed here several times and each time the welcome has been amazing. This time we arrived just a bit late and as such the restaurant was shut but they had a word with the chef and they agreed to make us something and gave us a variety of choice too. Really amazing hospitality

The friendliness of the staff was lovely, especially Becky and Karen, who looked after us so well at breakfast, nothing was too much trouble 😀. The breakfast was very well cooked, and there was plenty of choice. The rooms were a little tired, but the bedding and towels were exceptionally clean, and the beds were very comfy.
