Nicol was so helpful and arranged to make a wonderful warm plate for our breakfast knowing we don’t eat salad and gave us guidance on map as where to find food. The location is amazing, the interior is lovely like on a Greek island, the food is tasty, the owners heart warming. Highly recommended!

Good location in a quiet area, about 4 minutes waking from Higashiyama metro station or 13 minutes walking from Sanjo station. It's about a 15 minute walk from Yasaka-jinja and Gion. Good-sized room with private bathroom including a bathtub with controls (with usage explained in information booklet). The person at reception when I checked in even spoke Spanish.

The host and his dog were lovely. The place was BEAUTIFUL!! And traditional. It is an old house and you can hear your neighbours, unfortunately we got bit unlucky one night and some people were very loud. But all in all everything was perfect!
