I spent 3 amazing nights at Villa Nagara and would highly recommend this hotel! The room was spacious, spotless, and free of clutter, with a very comfortable bed and perfectly working A/C. The WiFi was excellent (160 Mbps) and worked smoothly throughout my stay. The location is fantastic, right in front of the Nam Khan River, with stunning views, especially at sunset. The receptionist was incredibly kind and attentive, helping me arrange my train ticket to Vientiane and the van transfer to the railway station. All the staff were warm and welcoming, making the whole stay even more enjoyable. Everything was handled smoothly and with a smile. A jewel in Luang Prabang, I’ll definitely come back!

Great hotel centrally located on the quiet side river. Friendly, helpful staff, comfortable rooms and very good breakfast.

This was my second time at Ancient Luang Prabang Hotel. I had the same room and excellent service. The young and friendly staff, led by Khamla, the manager, are amazing and considering they have endured a sever lockdown during Covid and maintained the prémices in perfect condition is a testament to their abilities. Breakfast is excellent with a choice of Western or Lao (2 Luang Prabang specialities), my bed was very comfortable as was the room. Will come again as soon as I can!
