The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. When my friend got sick and couldn't hike Machu Picchu, they went out of their way to care for her and tried to help as much as possible. Extremely kind and considerate. They also provided great logistical information.

Good value for a clean, quiet room in AC. Note, I was on the 5th floor, and I had to let the hot tap run for 5 minutes for the hot water to arrived. After that there was lashings of hot water.

The couple running the hostel are absolutely lovely. They are so friendly and happy to help with everything - restaurant recommendations, booking bus tickets to Machu Picchu, giving general advice for Machu Picchu, booking a private guide etc. The breakfast included was amazing too - fruits, egg, bread etc. - perfect meal before setting off to Machu Picchu. The room itself was great with a private bedroom and a view of the scenery outside. The hostel was spotless and in a great location.

The host was great! We had to queue for Machu Picchu tickers so would have missed normal breakfast time so he got up early for us! The next day he came and found us in the bus queue with a packed breakfast to take on the bus up!! Location is amazing right on the main street
