Absolutely amazing location overlooking the mountains and the rice terraces with a magnificient view from both sides of the natural Ifugao house. With a toilet and a shower next to the house, this accommodation has got everything for a peaceful and calm nature experience. What a wonderful find! A highlight of my trip to The Phillipines. Loved staying with Christina and her family, deep in the Banaue Rice Terraces at Batad. Great company with the other guests from around the world. Lovely home cooked meals. Christina's 4 year old grand daughter was an absolute delight, as were the village children wanting to practice their English. Beautiful hikes to waterfalls and rivers. The family even dressed me in their traditional clothing on my final night. This place is an absolute gem for intrepid travellers. Highly recommended.

Irene and her team were the perfect welcoming staff team to an Inn… Especially after a 3 days trek and being exhausted. Joyful and generous people. The view is just spectacular- difficult to have a better experience than the Batad View Inn located above the green “Roman-theater-like” rice terraces and it’s village. Very intimate. The food was also very good and would recommend the rice cake for desert made by Irene :) Our room was a dream : two sided windows, palm trees, a whole view on the rice terraces and even more surprises. Thank you Irene for having us! I recommend 100%.

The view was absolutely exceptional and therefore worth every penny. One may think that together with clean rooms that’s everything the Batad Hillside Inn has to offer. However, what made our stay absolutely unforgettable was the staff. They were incredibly helpful and exceptionally nice. We felt very well taken care of. So if you think about booking another place - you may miss out!
