From the moment we arrived, Marcela and her family welcomed us with such genuine warmth that we instantly felt at home. The atmosphere of the posada is peaceful, authentic, and filled with a charm that’s hard to describe. One of the highlights of our visit was the incredible asado dinner. Despite my severe allergies, everything was handled with such care and attention. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and every detail was thoughtfully accommodated without hesitation. What truly set our experience apart was the generosity and support Marcela and her family showed us. We were searching for information about my husbands Welsh ancestors, and they went above and beyond to help. Their kindness made our journey both easier and far more meaningful. The rooms were cozy, the surroundings stunning, and the overall experience exceptional. We are deeply grateful for the love and attention we received. Posada Los Mimbres is more than a place to stay, it’s a place where you feel connected, cared for, and completely at ease. We would return in a heartbeat and recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone looking for a truly special and memorable stay.

Probably the best place on the Península Valdés. La Elvira is a place run with passion by passionate people. Alejandro, our lovely guide, toured us around the entire peninsula, and it was magical. His knowledge and passion for nature and wildlife are incredible - thank you for your patience. Paola, even though we only had a short chance to meet her, is an amazing person. Mauricio “Polaco,” the chef 🧑‍🍳, made food with love - and the birthday cake ❤️. I also need to mention the lady who took care of our room—it was always spotless. This place is not only about the wildlife and nature but, most importantly, about the people. Thank you so much, and keep up the GREAT work you are doing. Alejandro, I hope you will continue doing guided tours and sharing your love for wildlife with others. Muchias gracias! 🙏 We will have all the memories for lifetime. Ps. Had great time staying at Angelina. Staff was amazing, super helpful and patient with my bad Spanish. Helped me to adjust my staying and with taxi. Breakfast doesn’t have many options. Is so so, but all the rest was great.

We loved absolutely everything about this place. The setting, the rustic yet elegant furnishings, the fireplace, the spacious rooms, the nearness of the lake and river, but most of all Fabian’s hospitality. He was a very personable guy, attentive and accommodating to our every need. And holy smokes! What a delicious steak dinner he made.
