Close to the boat pier; the town square was just outside the property. The buffet breakfast - Definitely it can be comparable to the one offered by a 5-star hotel; but it has all the basics expected of from a small guesthouse; and its coffee is simply excellent! Accommodation in Hallstatt is always in tight supply; and with only €69 for one night is really a great deal.

The location is really good, 3 minutes to the lake and 2 minutes from the bus station. There is a very beautiful and safe path for walking and cycling around the lake. The service, food and the crew are also great! 😃👍🏻

I am fully aware, you can find more luxurious accommodation and so on... What I liked was that the price matched the level of equipment and everything was comfortable. The place is great. The supermarket is next to the building, and a few restaurants and pubs are within a 5–10 minute walk. The surroundings are nice for walks in nature. And what is great: there is a tram connection to Gmunden. The journey is nice to watch through the windows. And the owners – they are super friendly. At first I wanted to stay only for one night as I was traveling on the motorbike, but in the end I stayed one extra day thanks to all the positives of this place. And my plan is to come back with my girlfriend in the near future.
