The property is located close enough to Wengen train station & town, & 3-4 minutes from the cable car, yet far enough to get some peace & quiet. Each room has a balcony with a lovely view. It was spotless & cleaned each day with fresh towels replaced. The host, Martina is wonderful. She was warm & welcoming, and gave me lots of great tips for hiking & sightseeing. Their continental breakfast was excellent! Soft, freshly baked bread and croissants each morning from the local bakery with fresh cut up fruits & plenty of options for vegans & vegetarians for a healthy & hearty breakfast, served with a stunning backdrop of the mountains. 10/10 recommended.

At the inn all rooms are fitted with a shared bathroom. the hut is in a beautiful location, the staff was so friendly and helpful and the provided dinner and breakfast were delicious! Very well located to explore the area!

The location is convenient, close to the train station. I didn’t get the chance to try the restaurant downstairs but it looks very popular, I would definitely recommend this place and plan to book again on my next trip to Switzerland.

The Hotel Steinbock is located at the edge of Lauterbrunnen opposite the train and cable car station for Grütschalp, Mürren and the Schilthorn.

Some of the rooms offer a view of the Jungfrau, Breithorn and Ebnefluh mountains, which are over 4,000 m high. The view from our room and that i had an option for a private bathroom. The breakfast was also nice.

The Alpenblick hotel is a family business, situated about 600 metres from the centre of Grindelwald, right at the ski slope and a bus stop, and offers nice rooms and tasty food.

In the restaurant and on the sunny terrace guests can select from fresh hot sandwiches, steaks, salads and desserts. Cheese fondue is available as well. Good price, very nice location. Beautiful view from the window. Free parking. Welcoming staff. Choice of filter and espresso coffee in breakfast.
