It was within walking distance of Lake Brienz. You can get up in the morning and take a walk along the lake. Additionally, getting to Interlaken center by bus from the hotel is very easy. With the travel card provided by the hotel, you can use local transportation for free. We enjoyed the fresh air on our beautiful balcony with mountain views. The staff were friendly and very helpful. They were like part of our family. They tried to help us with everything. The breakfast was quite sufficient and delicious. The bread and croissants were fresh and very tasty. If I come here again, I will definitely choose this hotel. Everything was perfect.

This hotel is situated 200 metres from Lake Thun and close to the Beatus Caves. The host Alice was amazing, she is kind and homely. The location was dreamy and the view from the breakfast lounge was spectacular. The Garden space is beautiful and cheerful. My expectations were surpassed

Set in a building from 1706, the Baeren Hotel, The Bear Inn in Wilderswil offers traditionally furnished rooms with private bathrooms. The staff was exceptional and they allowed for early check-in. Breakfast was varied and had many healthy options to leave you ready for the day! The location was great--relatively secluded and about 2.5 miles from city center... a great walk if you're up for it but the bus is right around the corner.
