Located directly at Lake Lugano in the centre of Morcote village, Albergo Ristorante della Posta features a lakeside restaurant and a private lake access. Free Wi-Fi is available. So many great things about this hotel! The location is spectacular!!! The owner and staff are very welcoming and friendly. The restaurant serves delicious food, especially the pizza. Breakfast had lots of options. The room was clean and comfortable. The room view looked towards the famous church on the hill and terra cotta roof tops. There didn't seem to be hot water for showering the evening I was there. Not sure why that was, as I didn't ask. The bed was a bit too hard for my liking. Overall, fantastic value for the money. I very highly recommend this hotel. I hope to visit Morcote again. When I do, I will stay here again.

Lot's of attention for my little dog, they took good care of. Breakfast was good and I was ready for the rest of the trip. In daylight I then noticed the awesome location of the village. Breathtaking!

This place is spectacular! We had to cancel another place down the mountain which looked sketchy, this place had a small but mighty menu of home made gnocchi, a wonderful mixed salad presented beautifully and some roast beef that was delicious. Breakfast was delicious cheese and homemade jam. Even though it thunderstormed on us, we felt rested! And we really enjoyed our stay! I highly recommend the drive up the hill to this rustic beauty and charm of a hotel. Excellent!

For sure simpler than a big name hotel but super friendly, clean and comfortable. For me it was the perfect place to stay in a beautiful area. Super happy.
