Miss Portia was very welcoming and extremely friendly giving us recommendations for places to eat or where to go and helped us call for a cab reservation for our way back to the airport.! Keep in mind the reservation is to be paid in CASH. I wasnt aware of this and had to go out and find an ATM. Also there is no hot water but its room temperature so its not that difficult to deal with. Room amenities include AC, TV, hanging and closet space, table lamp and mini fridge

Conversation with them helped me understand the history of the island and the people who live there. I felt like I was staying with family. I recommend that anyone coming to Providencia stay with them, specifically couples or solo travelers.
