The Ecohotel Yachay Tayrona is located within the Tayrona National Natural Park 33 km from Santa Marta, offers a terrace and mountain views with a direct encounter with the nature. Everything was excellent. We are very pleased with our stay.

Offering views of the Sierra, Mundo Nuevo ECO LODGE (2.2 km and 400 meters uphill Minca) is set in an organic farm with a vegetarian restaurant (one menu) with mainly dishes with fruits and vegetable... Very remote and relaxing. Beautiful scenery, the people were very friendly

With macaws flying over head, howler monkeys calling in the morning, capuchin monkeys flying through the trees and a sleeping sloth over the path await you but you have to earn it! A not to be missed highlight is the early morning hike to the Mirador- it's stunning! The trail to get here can be demanding but Sebastian or Jose will help you and it will be worth your effort.

We loved our stay here and would very much hope to come back in the future! Having explored other parts of parque Tayrona this was by far our favourite beach. The relaxed atmosphere and friendly small businesses on the beach make you feel at home and although busy during the day it never felt crowded. Around 3pm the day visitors begin to leave and there is hardly anyone on the beach for the last couple of hours, which is amazing. The Mirador itself has stunning views and Naydu was a great host who made us feel very welcome along with the other staff. Would very much recommend staying here for a relaxed beach escape.

Beautiful private room with forest and river view. We especially enjoyed the yummy breakfast out on the balcony, while watching the hummingbirds each morning.

The cabin is cozy, surrounded by nature, and perfect for a secluded getaway.

The staff were super friendly and helpful (staying late to check us in, providing tips for the local area, speaking English when our spanish failed us, and organising a taxi to the airport on the way out). The room was comfortable - the beds were comfy and there was lots of storage space for our clothes. Breakfast was great each morning. We liked the location as well - in town and close to nice restaurants for dinner.
