When I needed to cut my trip short, the owner was very understanding and helpful. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.

Excellent breakfast. Very nice restaurant--we enjoyed the "Sunday Roast" dinner. Beautiful view from the dining room--reminded me of a Monet garden painting. Clean modern rooms-recently updated. Close to the Egeskov castle which is a must see. Also close to Sandholt Slot which is not open to the public, but can be viewed from the road.

Our room, #22 was large but without ambiance and right off the highway with traffic noise continually . Had A/C so we just kept the windows closed to decrease the noise . Our room was at the top is one of the narrowest and steepest staircases that we have experienced in a European Hotel . Only way out of the room was down the narrow stairs in an emergency or a fire . Really not a good idea or plan . Breakfast was good with several hot and cold choices .

The breakfast was wonderful !!!! The Kro was clean, quiet, comfortable and the staff were very helpful. There was a beautiful old Danish church across the road. The staff spoke English very well ( my Danish is only middling well).
