When I needed to cut my trip short, the owner was very understanding and helpful. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.

It is a special place, with special atmosphere, completely quaiet, near the old medieval church with very interesting history. Very friedly and practical arrangement of the room. Absolutely quaiet.

You can enjoy coffe and cake in the afternoon after a short walk in the gardens, or a drink in the evening. Location is great and the room that we got was very spacious and lovely - we loved the old school vibes! The bed was super comfy with fluffy pillows and warm covers. I appreciated the option to open windows and the blinds as I like to sleep in the dark. Breakfast didn’t have tons of options but all the staples were available; eggs, sausage, bacon, rolls + yoghurt and cereal and fresh fruit. No fresh juice but bottled drinks in several flavors were pretty good!

Excellent breakfast. Very nice restaurant--we enjoyed the "Sunday Roast" dinner. Beautiful view from the dining room--reminded me of a Monet garden painting. Clean modern rooms-recently updated. Close to the Egeskov castle which is a must see. Also close to Sandholt Slot which is not open to the public, but can be viewed from the road.

The sandy Sønderstrand Beach is 8 km from the inn. The German town of Flensburg is 38 km away. Friendly reception . Good bicycle storage inside and secure . Our room, #22 was large but without ambiance and right off the highway with traffic noise continually . Had A/C so we just kept the windows closed to decrease the noise . Our room was at the top is one of the narrowest and steepest staircases that we have experienced in a European Hotel . Only way out of the room was down the narrow stairs in an emergency or a fire . Really not a good idea or plan . Breakfast was good with several hot and cold choices .

Legoland Theme Park is 15 km away. The rooms, breakfast and location was perfect^^ Nice staff at the breakfast, but check in and out is mostly no contact, although we were welcomed at our arrival by the hostel chief. Also very nice that the rooms had a medium large fridge we could use!
