The inn offers a tour of the waterfalls and hot springs located 5 km away. Baños’ town centre is a 3-minute walk away, while Cotopaxi International Airport is a 1-hour drive away. The location was excellent. The hosteria is on a hillside, offering a beautiful mountain view across the town and the valley. At the same time the location is also central, only 10 minutes by foot from the main square and 12 minutes from the bus station (Terminal Terrestre). Our room was clean and comfortable, with two queen beds with four(!) soft pillows. The bathroom had hot water for showering. Normally the room is cleaned every day (they ask if you wish that they do). The breakfast was very good. It consisted of eggs, bread rolls, butter and marmalade with juice and coffee - which is what you normally get for breakfast in Ecuador. But the juice was different every day, the croissants were served warm (not every day, though) and the eggs were prepared in a different way. This is actually a big deal if you've been traveling for a long time. We had established a contact with the hosteria in WhatsApp before arrival and received all possible information regarding our stay in advance. Someone was around and available 24/7, opening the gate and supporting the clients with information about activities etc. We had our laundry done for a very small amount of money that was less than in public laundries. We did not speak Spanish, so were happy to find that the staff spoke varying levels of English. You get a great value for the money you pay.

At the inn, rooms include a wardrobe. Featuring a private bathroom with a shower and free toiletries, rooms at La Casa Amarilla also boast free WiFi, while certain rooms have a city view. The rooms at the accommodation are fitted with a seating area. The place is unique and has a wonderful view. The staff is very friendly so I recommend this place for any solo traveler or family.

Located 1.5 km from Baños Downtown and 200 meters from El Salado thermals, Hosteria Casa Giralda features bungalow-style accommodation. Free WiFi access and free private parking are available. There is a games room and guests can enjoy the spa and the on-site bar. A great hotel that had nearly everything we needed. The room was very clean, the staff is extremely nice and helpful. It was also a great location. The pool was fantastic, the food served in the restaurant was great too. We also used the laundry service - they got all our clothes clean and folded. The person who runs this place does a really great job!

Hostería Las Orquídeas features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and restaurant in Baños. Among the various facilities are a bar and barbecue facilities. There is free private parking and the property provides paid airport shuttle service.

With a private bathroom, rooms at the inn also offer free WiFi, while selected rooms are fitted with a mountain view. Nice of you like something out of the way,in a more rural setting. The staff was excellent
