Located 8 miles from the historic cities of Bath and Bristol, The Carpenters Arms is in the tranquil and scenic hamlet of Stanton Wick, near the village of Pensford, in the heart of the Chew Valley countryside. The pub was delightful , retained all its original features as well as the added on bits were integrated very well. The bar / restaurant areas were very clean and tidy , rooms were really nice , clean comfortable , The staff were all very pleasant and very helpful .The food was very good and was the best around the area of Pensford and Stanton Wick. Most certainly a place to visit again.

The check in and out was at their cute little bar / eatery situated on the ground floor, the staff was super lovely and welcoming and we were so happy to meet a young fellow South African lady who made us feel right at home in the heart of Bath. The rooms, views, and facilities were all exceptional. This is 100% a city i would love to visit again and I will be sure to book at Black Fox again, thank you team.

Perfect location for the Park and ride into Bath, great facilities. Our bedroom was beautifully presented. I love the Wind in the Willows theme throughout the place. Dinner and Breakfast were excellent.
