Really lovely, quirky spot. Honestly, I can't fault it. The staff were lovely and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. We stayed here for a family trip to see Windsor & visit legoland. The location was great. I would describe the pub as a busy spot, people always coming and going, a nice crowd, friends meeting up for a pint and a bite to eat. Really good vibe. Shuts down at 10 / 10.30, so once the crowd moves on, it's pretty quiet. The rooms are really quirky and clean. The bed was comfty. We all slept pretty well. We really enjoyed our stay here. Pizza van and coffee van were an added bonus, and right up the street is some great cafes / restaurants for breakfast or dinner. We had a hire car and found street parking easy. We were out and about most days, so by the time we got home, it was lovely to drop the bags and have a pint or a wander up the street.
Really enjoyed it here.

Everything about the Hare and Hounds is wonderful: the staff, the restaurant, the atmosphere, the rooms, the beds, the showers, the decore, the location. I stay often, for me it has become a home away from home when I’m travelling for work.
Hungerford
Set in a former Coaching Inn, The Three Swans Hotel, Hungerford, Berkshire - The Coaching Inn Group boasts traditional charm and period features. It is 100 metres from the Kennet and Avon Canal, and has a restaurant, bar and outdoor eatery. I recently stayed at the Three Swans Hotel in Hungerford, Berkshire and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. From the moment I walked in, the staff were friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and all the necessary amenities. The decor was traditional yet modern, giving the room a cozy and inviting feel. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches such as a complimentary bottle of water and biscuits. The hotel's location is perfect, right in the heart of Hungerford and within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the train station. Despite being in the town center, the room was quiet and I had a great night's sleep. The highlight of my stay was definitely the food at the hotel's restaurant. I had both breakfast and dinner there and was blown away by the quality and taste of the dishes. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of options and everything was fresh and delicious. I highly recommend trying the steak at dinner, it was cooked to perfection. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at the Three Swans Hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hungerford. The staff, room, and food were all top-notch, making for a memorable stay. I will definitely be returning in the future.

Dinner was perfect could of had more choices but coukd fault what we had Bar area drinks wasnt expensive and staff very welcoming
I asked for an early check as flying in from Australia and the staff managed to have the room ready for 11:15am. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Adequate Parking, excellent location to the town, Great country walks nearby. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. Room was very good.
So much better vfm than the Premier Inn. Excellent landlord/owner. Quiet room. Lots of free coffee, sugar etc...never had to ask for refill once over 2 nights stay (Premier has enough for one cup). Free bottled water in room. FREE PARKING - Enjoy your fines at the Council car park opposite the Premier. Fantastic shower. Windows you can open. An associated pub next door with great clientele (except for Tara lol). Open mic on Friday eve's.
An extremely comfortable room. Breakfast was a good meal and we had dinner and lunch on one occasion and they were both excellent quality. They made out dog very welcome too.
Great inn, with traditional rustic decoration, spacious comfortable rooms, meadow with horses at the background, great food at the pub
We were placed in the Admiral’s Inn guest house where there was no breakfast room. However, there was a small fridge in the room, which was an added bonus, where we were able to keep our own breakfast bits. The shower was on a huge base, allowing plenty of manoeuvring, but the electronic water control made water flow and temperature control quite difficult.(Water was either full on, or full off and the smallest of thermostat movements made the water very hot, or very cold).
