Excellent, spacious and modern room. Large bathroom with large shower area. Nicely decorated lounge area. Fantastically decorated breakfast room with frescoes on the walls. Delicious breakfast with good quality food and locally produced delicacies. Friendly people. Quiet area in spite of being close to the highway. A great find in Sirmione area, we will definitely come back again!

A wonderful all around experience, from the location in historic Chiavenna, the extreme friendliness of the owners, the beautiful villa, outstanding food provided by the young chef. We can only imagine if it were summer and we would have been able to use the garden and outside area, too.

Luca was absolutely brillant host. Easily in touch, full of good tips about the surrounding area and very nice in general. The accommodation is newly renovated with all the modern facilities but still holds the old charm. Breakfast was top 10 in our experience, local organic products and something for every taste and nicely served. Good beds, clean rooms, modern coffee makeing facilities in the room, top 10 also. Drinking water to fill up your bottles available for free (sparkling or still). Wine bar downstairs is nice bonus. Location on the edge of old town is very convinient. Free public parking is available nearby, ask from Luca. Ask for restaurant recommendations, everything on old town is at walking distance. Good base for excursions to nearby valleys and mountains.

However I am an 80 year old lady and my room was on the third floor with no elevator. Also, the room I was given had a bed on a second elevated level in the suite with the bathroom on the first level. This is impossible to navigate. The owner gave me another room, but only for two nights. I had paid for three nights. The room she gave me was only available for those two. I had to leave the hotel and check into another hotel. I would hope to be reimbursed for the lost night since it was the fault of the owner.

Very friendly...and the best is the Albanian waitress in the restaurant. She is very sympathy and kind. thanks to everybody.
