It feels like home once you arrive there, it’s a lovely house that smells so good like the fresh home made bagels they prepared every day. The room was beautiful with wooden roofs and it was perfectly clean. The staff was really nice and the home made breakfast was absolutely delicious! Thank you so much for making our stay so comfortable.

Staff were kind and welcoming, and the location was quiet but still convenient for exploring the city. Highly recommended!

This was the first "real" hotel my cousin and I stayed at while in Japan (others being Hostels and Capsule Hotels), so this felt like we were staying at a palace. It was great to have a shower and washer/dryer in our room. The beds were very comfortable. The hotel staff was also very friendly and accommodating; they even helped me locate a water bottle that I thought I had lost and held it for me to pick up later. The area was also very nice; we were able to walk to most of the places we wanted to visit while in Kyoto.

The room was very nice with everything you need for your stay! It was spacious even for three adults. The bathroom was very nice and the possibility to dry your clothes after washing them in the hotels laundry room was amazing! It was quite clean with a few dustbunnies here and there but overall very good! Definitely great value for the money! The location is just perfect! Walking distans to Yasaka Shrine, pontocho street and everything around there! Very pleased with the visit, highly recommend!

Really beautiful room with a huge bed and lovely sliding doors in the huge windows that make the interior really pretty. The shower was really powerful and they provide large fluffy towels. They have a mini fridge for any small items and there’s combini a minute away. You can easily take the bus but a nearby bus stops and it’s conveniently located next to lots of tourist spots. The gentleman on reception was incredibly helpful, responded to our requests quickly and went out of his way to provide great customer service.
