Pleasant surprise was the mini zoo and a small playground. We travelled with our 1,5 year old child and she enjoyed it a lot as well. Food was delicious and portions were huge. I am a big guy and even I couldn't finish my plate. Many regional foods and beer on the menu. The room was big and clean.

Very beautiful and historic and well kept. We had a very spacious room and some of the most comfortable beds and pillows I’ve experienced in a while. Exceptionally clean, all possible amenities provided. All of the dozen windows opened, loved the breeze and sounds of birds in the morning. Very quiet at night. Lots of space to explore gardens and a chapel and history on and near the property. Food for breakfast and half board were wonderful. Lots of variety and perfectly ripe fresh fruit, some of which came from the property. Dinner was classic, homemade in the rustic kitchen. Lots of public space and outside patios to enjoy. The host was wonderful. He kept us entertained and offered us more drinks just as we needed a refill. Great wine and beer, cold and in a glass. Safe parking, on gravel. We booked last minute—maybe an hour before we pulled up at 5 in the afternoon—and the host was ready for us.

Very cosy and authentic place to stay. Nice location with lake view. Parking is locked and lighted during the night time. Breakfast were great, better than some hotels servs, coffee were good too. Whould stay again
