Although the hotel I booked is self-check in, there is a front desk of hotel chain just nearby. So I can go there to ask for help or any serivce I need. They even prepare some snacks and drink in rest area. And the location is good, near the heart of Taichung city. The famous night market is just in the corner, and the beach is also not far away!

I had several odd requests and terrible Chinese, but they patiently helped me solve all my problems. My family loved how clean and modern and HUGE the rooms were. We loved our stay there!

Convenient spot in the center of the city allowed us to almost never use public transport. Even when we used, the central hub bus station was close by. As for the hotel, it provided each floor with a water dispenser (hot, mild, cold), so we didn't have to worry about buying water, the looby area had a nice little sitting place akin to restaurant you could take your take-out food and eat it. Those were small bonuses that helped the overal experience.
