This 100year old eight bedroom inn is perfect in every way....wonderful, welcoming owners, tastefully decorated throughout, several areas to relax in and enjoy, lots of little extras (mints, ice cream, energy bars etc), the most delicious food served in the restaurant and that we have experienced in our 3 month trip through the USA. A true hidden treasure and one that we would highly recommend to stay in.

The views in every direction were exceptional. The spacious room was superb for a bed and breakfast. There is really no contact with staff besides at breakfast. Check in is contact less and it was a phone call at the front desk but the easiest and fastest process I've ever experienced, compared to past experiences in this type of checkin. The view from the cabin over the river, watching the deers cross your front yard in the afternoon while reading a good book in the porch. Having marshmallows at night in the fire ring outside the cabin, easy access to the river. We forgot there were tennis courts and didn’t bring our racquets sadly.

One of the best place I’ve ever stayed at. Magical location and view, lots of cosy lounging areas, massive pool, lovely room and food and the best staff. We spoke with Brad, the manager, about the history and wildlife, very nice and professional team. Thank you Brad! The photos don’t do it justice!! We’ll definitely go back if in Texas!
