The "ski in ski out" possibility is great. There are so variety of ski lifts/routes. Ski shop is just located inside the hotel, it is very easy to hire a your ski/snowboard from there. The staff in the shop are extremely helpful and friendly. The food option (both in breakfast/dinner) and service quality was amazing. There were so many wine options. The whole staff were also so friendly and amazing. (Special thanks to the guys in reception, to Maria)

We drove from Munich. When we were greeted, we were offered the lunch buffet which had hot soup and many delicious grab and go treats. There are multiple spa areas, which was really nice. I wish they had a cold plunge year-round. It would have been nice to do the hot tub then the cold plunge in back in the hot tub again. The location was amazing. You have the capacity to walk 100 feet to get on a lift to go snowboarding. Those slopes have a red run that leads all the way down to the hotel. The other two slopes are less than a five minute drive. The massage therapist, whose name I think was Michel, is absolutely amazing and well worth the hour session. I had a small incident while snowboarding and he took very good care of my calf/knee. He went above and beyond with taping it for me.

I really enjoyed my stay in Josl, even as a solo traveler who doesn’t speak German. The location is perfect, with a very short walk to the gondola. The rental shop is next door. The ski room is conveniently located on the ground floor, with a shortcut to the gondola. The decoration is modern, room is very clean. Staff and guests are super friendly, and provided all the advices to a guest who didn’t do any homework. The biggest hit is the half board food. Oh my gosh, that’s something I had never imagined to be included in the room rate. The two meals and snacks have $$$$ value if it would be in the U.S.

Beautiful, clean, and comfortable hotel. The suites and rooms ending 1-5 had great views. The meals were delicious and plentiful. The staff was helpful in coordinating transportation and with information. We received a message beforehand that they could place our two rooms together, but that didn’t happen which was inconvenient, but all the other pros like evening entertainment, the food, the comfortable rooms, outweigh any disappointment. Just a few stops away from Skiing at the glacier, near some Walking trails. We would definitely recommend this place to families and travelers looking for a quiet and relaxing time in the area.
