From the moment we arrived the friendly service and gorgeous decor really blew us away. We had some of the best food we've had in our tour around Bulgaria. The pool was lovely, clean and quiet and the staff couldn't do enough for us. As a vegetarian they were happy to amend a pizza and the pasta options for non meat eaters were fab. We spent 2 nights here and fell in love with lots of the furniture items and art.

We were in Bulgaria in April, so before high-season. Therefore, at least we guess so, like in many other places in Bulgaria before, we were the only guests at Chalet Balkan.
