The staff at Pousada Rubi were truly exceptional. A huge thank you to Gabi, Bea, and the rest of the team for making us feel so welcomed. Their amazing guidance helped us make the most of our time on Ilha Grande. They provided excellent hiking tips, recommended beautiful beaches to visit, and suggested outstanding restaurants to enjoy. The breakfast and afternoon tea were added bonuses that we looked forward to every day. Our stay was one we won't forget.

Good location, good breakfast.

Located on Praia Pequena da Freguesia de Santana beach, this guest house is surrounded by rich Atlantic Forest. It offers a rustic-style restaurant and bar, outdoor pool and hot tub.

Beautiful room and property. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was plentiful and the views were great. Good internet and hot water for showers! Would definitely recommend. We also saw a turtle swimming in the water closeby! Location is also close to Lagoa Azul which we kayaked to. Kayaks were free to use which were great!

I honestly think it is the best hotel I have ever stayed in in Brazil. the location is stunning, it is so nice that the house has its own deck. it makes it so much easier to get there, take a taxi boat, etc. it is also nice to read a book. the rooms are absolutely beautiful, I travelled a lot in Brazil and I never saw this quality for bedding, decorations, etc. the service is great: we loved the breakfast and the tea time, and we loved the option to order pique-nique for our walks.

I had an amazing stay here! The room was very clean and was cleaned every day throughout my stay. The bed was very comfortable and it was lovely waking up and looking out at the green forest. The staff were so kind and friendly, even remembering my name which was a really nice touch. It really is a lovely, peaceful place and you can tell it is run with love and care. I will definitely stay again if I ever come back to Ilha Grande!
