Loved the look of the room from colour scheme to decor to photos of the Nation's Capital. Centrally located to where we wanted to visit. Price was so great and facilities were impeccable. Breakfast was incredible and staff were extremely courteous to the guests.

We really enjoyed our stay in the Lord Elgin. The staff in reception and the restaurant are superb. They are very helpful and professional. Three of us used the restaurant for breakfast for five days and it was always excellent and the staff really are brilliant. The beds are comfortable and the room was quiet. The location of the hotel is great. The Canadian War museum and the Canada Aviation and Space museum should not be missed. The only negative for us is that there is not a supermarket nearby. I would definitely stay here again though.

Lovely big room. Very comfortable bed. Very nice restaurant and the food - quality and choice - was excellent. Very efficient shuttle to airport.

Everything especially the location of the hotel. We have two connecting rooms on high floor facing Parliament hills! The views were simply amazing! Hotel staff are super friendly. Beds are super comfortable. Location of the hotel cannot be beaten. Right in the centre of the city… close to Parliament hills and Byward market. Hotel has direct link to Rideau Centre shopping Mall! Incredible stay!

If you stay at this place, you get a whole spacious apartment! The rooms have a fully equipped kitchen, a separate bedroom, a living room and a balcony. What do you want more? It's really close to the city center and all the attractions and sights. There are lots of restaurants, take aways and pubs nearby (the location itself is located in a quiet street). You also have a huge supermarket and a rexall there. I didn't use the gym and pool.
