Amazing Hotel in Engelberg! We have enjoyed to the fullest our stay at Hotel Waldegg. The staff was extremely friendly and the provided service was fantastic. Every day we received a printed forecast for the next day mentioning the weather and what activities we could do. The Spa was great. There is one big swimming pool inside and a hot water tub outside on the terrace. The saunas were nice too. The Hotel is a little bit up on a hill, but you can easily reach it by bus or taxi. There is a bus stop just in front of the hotel. Breakfast was included in our booking and it was delicious. There was a buffet with lots of choice. Furthermore, you could also order additional hot meals from the menu as scrambled eggs, omelettes, etc. The staff in the breakfast room was very friendly as well. The hotel has also 2 restaurants, one for European cuisine and one Thai cuisine. We tried both of them and enjoyed our meals.

Offering panoramic views of the North Face of the Eiger and the Bernese Alps, this family-run 4-star superior hotel is just a 5-minute walk from the centre of Grindelwald.

The apartment was perfect for what we needed! We were able to use the well equipped kitchen and got to enjoy the living space. There were many snacks and items in the fridge for us to enjoy. We entered the apartment after a full day of skiing so we were ready to relax, which the apartment delivered, the bathrooms are lovely, bedrooms are comfortable and there is even a fireplace and wood outside for us to use. However the best part was yet to come when we woke in the morning to a stunning view!

Only 1.5 km from the ski lifts, this youth hostel is located in Grindelwald. The sun terrace and the lovely breakfast room have beautiful views of the Bernese Alps. Packed lunches are available.

Very comfortable beds with friendly staff . Breakfast was awesome , also serve dinner (17CHF which I think is reasonable). The amenities were very clean, no issues . There were also lockers you can use with a deposit 2CHF if needed . Oh the view of the great Eiger from the hostel and the dining place is priceless , worth every dime !!

The location was amazing, and the attached balcony was very peaceful. This hotel was much more affordable than equivalent rooms in the area, and I'm not really sure why. The property was very nice and the room was clean and well stocked. I loved everything about Engelberg, and this hotel really was icing on the cake.
