The breakfast was phenomenal. The location was perfect: the end of town (away from the crowds) and right next to the river (for the best white noise in all of Switzerland). They upgraded us to a balcony room which was awesome.

The Hotel Etoile staff is very kind and helpful, and they speak in good English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese... The building surroundings are very beautiful and quiet, with great views to the garden and to the mountains. I had a very great and peaceful time there! Besides Saas-Fee is so pleasant, it's really worth visiting.

We had a wonderful stay in a big spacious room and a balcony with a fantastic view, generous and helpful hosts, breakfast was a delight and facilities like whirlpool and sauna were just what we were looking for! The meals were incredible (especially dinners), the staff was polite, helpful and kind, the apartment was neat and clean - towels were changed every day!, the view from the window was unbelievable - and there was even a small balcony to enjoy it. Moreover, the house has an additional side building with a small sauna and jacuzzi as after-skiing leisure. A Ski rental, shop, closest ski lift and a bus stop to the skiing places are all within 5-minute-walking distance. And, of course, the cost for all the comfort we had and incredible food and sauna included, was totally decent.
