Last evening in Eiger Hotel, Murren. First time here, skiing holiday with my two grown up children. I was expecting to stay in a nice, clean hotel, good breakfast and all amenities. But the place appeared to be so much more! On our first evening we were met at the station and taken to our room. The kitchen managed to squeeze us in, despite the late hour. We were tired, having arrived late as our flight was delayed. Meeting us and feeding us was a lovely welcome. Beautiful hotel, very clean and friendly, good breakfast and dinner, very good wine card. Great location, Murren is a quaint little fairy tale village. The hotel is run by a family' nth generation, which is, sadly, so rare these days! But here owners are working together with the hotel staff every day. It was so heartwarming and wonderful to see that. Thank you!

I particularly appreciated the Nespresso coffee maker, daily restocked minibar, and yoga mats. For those looking for a touch of luxury, some rooms come with private saunas and fireplaces. - Dining: Dining at the on-site restaurant, BG's Grill, was a delight. Very comfortable beds with friendly staff . Breakfast was awesome , also serve dinner (17CHF which I think is reasonable). The amenities were very clean, no issues . There were also lockers you can use with a deposit 2CHF if needed . Oh the view of the great Eiger from the hostel and the dining place is priceless , worth every dime !!
