I was happy to return again to Montezuma and stay at El Jardin, my home away from home. It is honestly the best hotel that is close to the center where the restaurants and stores are. I saw more wildlife on the property than I did at the Cabo Blanco park. The view from my cabin was incredible and worth the few steps up the hill at the back of the property. It was nice and quiet and you can hear the ocean waves all night, especially after Chico's bar closes. The gardens and flowers are beautiful and the pools are very inviting. I was still able to rent a scooter, as before, and used it to get to the park and waterfall. Absolutely, the most friendly staff and Gabriel really makes you feel welcomed. He arranges transportation and has connections for tour guides and surfing instructors. This place has it all. Can't wait for my next return!

Paradise on earth! Irene, the manager was extremly helpful and did not hasitate to help us with bus tickets and offered free laundry as well! The Los Caballos is located a bit outside of the busy Montezuma. There is no traffic noise audible, and believe it or not, they have perfect road signs leading you to the place which is quite unusual in Costa Rica. After staying in Montezuma several times I would highly recommend this lovely place!

Fantastic welcome and introduction from Stephanie - great recommendations too. Wonderful breakfast. Great facilities team from cleaners to security, gardeners and maintenance people. All very friendly and helpful. Yoga session on site. Amazing views from room. Very clean. Had all amenities - great toiletries. Using WhatsApp made things very easy like ordering ATV; taxi: yoga. Welcome drink and bottle of wine on arrival really set the tone for a wonderful stay and we will hopefully be back! Also we had a lovely little Valentine’s Day treat from the hotel, such a cute touch! Also as an LGBT couple we were made to feel completely welcome and like any other couple. This is not always our experience so I think deserves a special mention. Again huge thank you to Stephanie and the team.

Breakfast was perfect...variety for both our tastes. The grounds and beach were amazing. Bonus were the trails connected to the property. The buildings, and history were way beyond what we expected. (They exceeded the pictures on-line) The beach was quiet and very relaxing. We really enjoyed venturing about a block to the "town" and experiencing the happy atmosphere of this gathering place. A couple of great restaurants and grocery store. The food at the resort was great as well.

We loved staying here. The hotel is up the hill from the beach but it is walkable otherwise a 4x4 is needed. Once you arrive at the hotel you are in your own haven with a pool, jacuzzi and day beds to help you relax. The rooms are lovely with a hanging double bed and then two single beds in the loft accessible by a bamboo ladder. Joel went out of his way to be helpful and organised a whale watching and snorkelling my trip for us which was one of our highlights of our trip. Would definitely recommend.

Hotel Tropico Latino is located in Santa Teresa beach in Nicoya Peninsula. It has a full spa with natural products, as well as a yoga studio and Mediterranean restaurant.

Best value for money you will find in Santa Teresa. Tropico Latino is an excellent beachfront hotel that offers breakfast at the beach restaurant. They are always doing the little extras to make you happy. The staff is so friendly, thanks to Guadalupe and Andreas from the reception and all the waiters at the restaurant. The food is excellent. The room was so spacious, with a comfortable bed and pillow (!!). For some reason, most hotels have horrible pillows, but here they were great. Yoga and training offers and facilities are so great!

We loved our stay at Little Escape. The house is very clean, modern, and spacious - especially for just two people. The house is surrounded by a beautiful jungle garden and there is a small pool! Little Escape is located just outside the busyness of Santa Teresa - but still within a few minutes drive to all the restaurants and shops. From the property, you can also walk within a few minutes to the beach directly opposite the property, which is great. We loved having a car so that we could explore all the beaches and restaurants in the area. The hosts are super friendly, always respond quickly, and will make sure you have everything you need during your stay. Will 100% recommend!!

We've had a fantastic stay at the freshly completed D'Palm Villas! The villas are located close to a great stretch of a beach and are very comfortable and stylishly decorated. Mike and Emilia were welcoming and available to give us tips on where to eat in Santa Teresa, as well as helping us to arrange surfing lessons. We'd love to come back in the future!
