Beautiful room, plenty spacious enough for self and two teenagers. Great finish and solid construction of everything in room. Reception staff incredibly helpful. Excellent soundproofing so we slept despite a protest car rally outside on the street for hours during Münich Security Conference. Good bathroom design with separated shower and WC which was very handy for peak bathroom time.

Extensively renovated in 2017, this 5-star hotel is an historic building offering modern interior design and free Wi-Fi, just 100 metres from Munich Main Station.

This was my second stay at this hotel. It is a very good choice for enjoying the Bavarian countryside while staying 20 minutes from downtown Munich. Perfect location and setting in a nice village, not far from two major highways, which make it ideal also for business meetings in the area (my case). Good German restaurant close by (3 minutes by walk). Very large, hassle-free parking. Away from the crowds and very quiet. I personally like the style of the structure, not bombastic nor hospital-like like most hotels today, but instead warm and authentic German (very nice wood paneling in the breakfast room!). Averagely sized, nice room with a balcony and a view of the countryside immediately next. Large bathroom. Very good and rich breakfast. Nice staff, warm and welcoming. Nice spa area. I had not the time to try the small gym.

Stayed for one night during Oktoberfest and really loved how close the property was to the S-Bahn. There were also lots of places to just hang out with friends, and the place seemed really laid back. While it may seem like an unusual place to stay compared to a typical hotel, check-in and out was super easy, and they allowed us to store luggage before check-in and after check-out. Didn’t pre-book breakfast, but had breakfast in the morning and it was amazing for the price. Honestly wish we had of stayed another evening, just so we could of had the breakfast again! Beds were comfy and airflow in room was great. Property have a filtered water bottle fill station in the common area above reception area.

Location and transport links: 20-25 minutes to Munich HBF door to door. Amazing view south to the alps. Extremely well equipped and decorated, and spotlessly clean. Balcony. Hammock. Mood lighting. Disco jacuzzi bath. Coffee machine. Etc. and so forth. Ralf was an excellent host: nothing too much trouble, great recommendations and explained everything.
