Everything was as expected. Warm welcome, clean, everything was present. There is a bath tub (not so easy to use as shower). Beds are okay. The location is very near to the attractions of Triberg.

I spent one night in DAS SCHÖNE LEBEN Hotel, and I really appreciated it! Travelling with my bicycle, I asked the staff to park it in a safe place, so they opened me the garage. Then, I chose to have dinner and tasted the delicious Black forest burger. All along, the staff was perfect. The room was spacious, clean, and with everything I needed for one night. The hotel is perfectly located near Hornberg, in the middle of the Black Forest. I definitely would have spent a few more nights to enjoy the sauna and the books.

This 4-star hotel features a large spa centre with 10 different saunas and an indoor pool. It lies in Lauterbach, surrounded by the scenic Black Forest countryside.

Amazing experience. The Suite rooms in the annex/dependence deliver great comfort besides being isolated from the main building (2mns walking max). The place is quiet and offers a nice view over the golf area. And you get extra preparation in the room if you have a dog (dogs are not allowed in the main building). The SPA is speechless. 4 different atmospheres, the infinity outdoor pool and the indoor pool (water could have been a bit warmer inside and in the jacuzzi) are big. I did not try the Gym but I had a look and it was well above standards. The breakfast is a mix of continental breakfast with local specialties. We went to the Övenhütte for the dinner. The place is nice and many local dishes are on the menu. Better to book a table in advance, especially for early dinner. This restaurant is also a 15/20mns walking distance from the hotel.

This hotel is 4 km off the main highway and sits in a small hamlet and is by far the largest building there. We liked everything immediately, the most friendly, helpful staff, immaculate surroundings and huge room with views over the outdoor pool which was open and heated even when it was -1* !

In this flat, everything is absolutely perfect and far beyond expectations. It is even difficult to mention all the stong points without forgetting anything. The hosts are extremely kind, they welcome you with a smile and make you feel at home. They're very responsive and plenty of good pieces of advice concerning places to visit and suggestions concerning local food. The flat is a jewel: fully equipped, very clean, cozy. Everything you need and even more, is already inside. Book here and you won't be disappointed. The location allows to visit Triberg's main attractions on foot. Triberg is a small, nice village and in case we go back there, for sure we'll stay at Miuti Residence again.
