This is a gem of a hotel. We returned here for a second year and enjoyed it just as much. We were a party of four, 2 young adults and my elderly mum and myself and there really is something for everyone to enjoy in beautiful Albir and the Kaktus Hotel is the perfect base from which to explore. The buffet breakfast, lunch and dinners are exceptional quality and value and all of the staff are so relaxed and friendly. A special thank you to Faran in the bar who kept the cocktails coming and was so friendly and professional! We will be back!!

Beautiful location and view. Very helpful staff. It is possible to drive there by car to put the luggage. Also you’ll need to drive through the pedestrian streets. Room is considerably small, but comfortable. Breakfast with a view was great!

Incredible boutique hotel in the heart of Altea. The staff made us feel so welcome from the minute we arrived to when we checked out. Adored the art deco feel of the accommodation from the reception to the rooms. The location was amazing with walking distance to the shops, cafes and beach. We can’t wait to come back.

    The room was spacious and clean, maybe the bathroom could do with a little renovation. Breakfast Buffett was OK, one thing though the cereal was located away from the Buffett area, at the other side of the restaurant so the first morning we. missed it, the fried eggs were rather old looking seemed to have been there for awhile.

    Hotel was located a short walk from the main street up a hill. The hotel is large, with large open communal areas inside and out...very spacious, nice size pool and plenty of sunbeds available. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Rooms were a good size with bath and shower and clean. There was a good choice of food at breakfast.
