A small boutique hotel that checks all the boxes. Perfect location, friendly and helpful staff that always offered to go above and beyond. I normally don't mention the bed, but this one was truly comfortable with sheets that were oh so soft. Plus there is a Tapas bar, Sa Barra on the back side of the hotel that was the best I have found.

Beautiful place! The pictures were beautiful but in person was even better. Great location if you’re renting a car: 2min to nearby supermarket, 5min to the town of Begur, 10min to many of the nearby beaches, and close to Calella de Palafrugell which had great lunch spots. The property is in fact shared with the hosts Martine and Menno, who were very attentive and checked in on us and were very helpful!

Everything was perfect. Staff was very attentive, the building has a lot of character, the room was very nicely decorated. Breakfast included a lot of choice and everything tasted great. The indoor pool was very nice and the jakuzi was a bit small but a lot of fun

The gardens are fabulous and the pool is also great . You are also above a lovely secluded beach so you can take a swim there too . They have also opened a new area next door whilst we were there . It’s has another pool; loads of loungers; a bar and 3 extras suites above . Plus the spa is incredible - pool, jacuzzi; cold room; sauna and multiple different showers and jets to try . The room we had was superb . Well laid out; sufficient cupboards; luxurious gowns and slippers. The decor is laid back elegant in tones of ecru, oak and white . The couches and bed are fabulously comfortable and the bed linen is crisp. The towels are an excellent quality as well as the toiletry products . The bathroom or changing room could do with somewhere to hang the bath towels as there are only 2 hooks in the bathroom and the gowns were on those. The hotel is a blissful oasis of quiet and calm . The staff are a delight and friendly. The main town is about 10-15 minutes walk and there are many restaurants and shops . The breakfast at the hotel is incredible and the pastry, cake and bread section is next level . We enjoyed the lunch on the patio and the main restaurant . We stayed in a sea view suite but we saw the delux rooms and they were lovely too .

    El Cel De Begur was an absolute gem!The room is spacious and presten, every detail is well thought The pool and jacuzzi again great addition, breakfast is absolutely delicious and the ladies who prepare and serve it are the sweetest most welcoming people you can find!

    The building is beautiful and the decor elegant and tasteful. The roof terrace with the jacuzzi and nice views is a lovely place to just relax and sun bathe with a drink, and also a nice place to have breakfast. The room was comfortable. It is in an excellent location to explore the centre of Begur with easy access to the resturants and shops.

    Stunning views down the valley from the lounge and pool deck. Very friendly and helpful staff. Spacious and comfortable room with A/C, kingsize bed. Lovely gardens. Great breakfast turned out to be included in the booked price (although not shown as such on Booking.com). Delicious bistro food available most lunchtimes and evenings, served on the pool level. Relaxed and intimate atmosphere due to limited numbers of guests. Lift for luggage from reception entrance to rooms and reception.
