A small boutique hotel that checks all the boxes. Perfect location, friendly and helpful staff that always offered to go above and beyond. I normally don't mention the bed, but this one was truly comfortable with sheets that were oh so soft. Plus there is a Tapas bar, Sa Barra on the back side of the hotel that was the best I have found.

Beautiful place! The pictures were beautiful but in person was even better. Great location if you’re renting a car: 2min to nearby supermarket, 5min to the town of Begur, 10min to many of the nearby beaches, and close to Calella de Palafrugell which had great lunch spots. The property is in fact shared with the hosts Martine and Menno, who were very attentive and checked in on us and were very helpful!

Everything was perfect. Staff was very attentive, the building has a lot of character, the room was very nicely decorated. Breakfast included a lot of choice and everything tasted great. The indoor pool was very nice and the jakuzi was a bit small but a lot of fun

The gardens are fabulous and the pool is also great . You are also above a lovely secluded beach so you can take a swim there too . They have also opened a new area next door whilst we were there . It’s has another pool; loads of loungers; a bar and 3 extras suites above . Plus the spa is incredible - pool, jacuzzi; cold room; sauna and multiple different showers and jets to try . The room we had was superb . Well laid out; sufficient cupboards; luxurious gowns and slippers. The decor is laid back elegant in tones of ecru, oak and white . The couches and bed are fabulously comfortable and the bed linen is crisp. The towels are an excellent quality as well as the toiletry products . The bathroom or changing room could do with somewhere to hang the bath towels as there are only 2 hooks in the bathroom and the gowns were on those. The hotel is a blissful oasis of quiet and calm . The staff are a delight and friendly. The main town is about 10-15 minutes walk and there are many restaurants and shops . The breakfast at the hotel is incredible and the pastry, cake and bread section is next level . We enjoyed the lunch on the patio and the main restaurant . We stayed in a sea view suite but we saw the delux rooms and they were lovely too .

    I had a room with seaview and spa pool of the the balcony (room 417). The property is beautiful, spacious, very clean room and large bathroom. It's a bit of an uphill walk to reception and lots of steps. A short walk down hill to the beach, restaurants etc..bar and restaurant on site, in nicely landscaped gardens. The tourist "hop on hop off bus stop is outside the entrance..picks up from Palafrugell bus station (6.50E) at 11am, 12.30, 16.00, 19.00..otherwise taxi is approx 18E. Good selection for breakfast.

    Family with young children (7 and 6 ), perfect as you could have option of going to the beach and if too much, relax back at the pool. Not many places with a pool. Rooms were great, short walk to the main part on the coast with restaurants, kids friendly. Breakfast, lunch and evening meals great options. Very easy if you have a family and a spar a few minutes away which has all you need on top. Also provides parking and great location
