The location was really good, quiet and only a 15-minute or so walk from the historic centre. The host was very good at communicating and check-in/out was super easy. The apartment was very clean and well appointed. Definitely somewhere we could have stayed for a few nights to see more of the city and the surrounding area. The inclusion of a parking spot was really nice, but be warned it is a very tight space to get into. We weren't sure our sedan would fit and it took some maneuvering.

Reception staff are nice and professional and speak good English. We received a map and advice on what to do in the city. Breakfast at a good price and choises. Very clean, modern and quiet. Elevator, very comfortable mattresses. Free private parking. Close to main roads. Great for a night stop

The food was fantastic and Jeff the host was brilliant. The location exudes a sense of calm and peace, all the animals mix, the dogs wander among the sheep, the cats climb over the dogs, it is amazing. The building is stunning and the attention to detail is beyond words, full of character and charm. This was the best place we stayed on our 12 day trip.

It was an exceptional surprise. The listing gives an idea but doesn't encompass the pure escapism that washes over you when you arrive. It was just a 2 night stay for us and the furthest leg of our Northern Spain 3 week adventure but so very memorable. A lot of careful thought and planning has gone into the conversion with high spec accommodation. We so enjoyed all of our stay. We just met one of the hosts briefly on arrival but was then left 'to enjoy our home whilst there' as they put it. We'd visited Playas Cathedrals en route just an hour or so drive away ( try to go at low tide for the best experience) and very much enjoyed Lugo especially MIHL (amazing space and exhibition), Lugo cathedral and a walk of the city wall. You do need a car. We understand there is to be another property added at Lucio Rodinso later this year and would certainly like to return one day.
