An oasis of peace, calm and birdsong situated in landscaped grounds on a peaceful lake. We heard nothing at all from the airport which is very close on the map. Helpful staff, beautiful bedrooms, a stunning restaurant and breakfast room overlooking the water and a perfect pool for swimming, lying in the sun or relaxing. I had stayed at many hotels that are renovated old mansions/palaces but this one was exceptional - the building still had old charm but things like lighting, bathroom and shower, power plugs etc are perfectly modern and up to date. Service was the best in the class too, and superbness of the spa is completely undersold on their website and is beyond expectation. Very highly recommended.
