Lovely location near old town and magnificent castle with a view of the river. Nearby secure parking. Restaurant very good with excellent menu. Buffet breakfast equally good. We abandoned all plans to use it just as a base, and chilled there instead. Could have stayed longer in this relaxed atmosphere. We had a river/chateau-facing room and balcony. Superb! The restaurant with its excellent food and which had a stunning view of the chateau. The pool was very refreshing after a busy day sightseeing.
