It was very spacious! Had all amenities necessary for a lovely comfortable base well exploring the lakes Great location to see the sights just a short drive in each direction. 8 minutes from the nearest beach Supermarket across the road. Clean and tidy and well equipped The Owner was very helpful, efficient and friendly after I had to book within hours of my Airbnb cancelling leaving us stranded. Would recommend would stay again 👍🏻 🙂 Thankyou very much

We had a great 7-night stay at this peaceful property in Kirksanton. The location is perfect – quiet and relaxing, with beautiful views of open countryside and the coast, and just a short drive to the beach at Silecroft. It’s also within easy reach of the southern Lake District, and the small-village atmosphere made it feel authentically local rather than touristy. The property was reasonably comfortable and had most of what we needed for the week, though there were a few bits and pieces not quite right. We really appreciated the tranquillity after a day of exploring, and it was the ideal base for both coastal walks and trips into the Lakes. Would happily stay here again.

Amazing place, perfect for a cosy weekend away, great location with gorgeous views, but still close to amenities. The host is really lovely and accommodating. I have already recommended to friends and will Hopefully revisit!

The lodge had everything we could ask for. Very modern and very clean. Very secure site with electric gates to get in and out. Owners were so friendly and greeted us on arrival and exit. Hot tub at temperature and very private, which made us feel comfortable.
