Aidan and Mij are wonderful hosts. They are truly kind. They made me and my son feel warm and welcome. The breakfast is freshly cooked and my son got pan cakes as well! The hot tub hands down was the best feature of all. Will keep coming back and will be recommending Earlston house.

This hotel was fabulous, the location is superb with the bonus of onsite parking. The hotel has a quaint charm of a bygone era and the staff have the same qualities. Old Fashioned some may think but the quality of the service is commendable. From entering the hotel everything was exceptional, the receptionist was very amenable and accommodating. The room was superbly clean and the location at the front facing side of the hotel was a dream, I would have loved a balcony room had our stay been more than one night. We asked if we could have some guests into the hotel for dinner, staying in another hotel it was their first visit to Devon, again for Redcliffe this was not an issue whatsoever. The three course meal in the dining room had a superb menu with something for everyone and was prepared and presented to a high standard. Having worked in a large hotel previously, I totally appreciate they had a lot going on the night we stayed, a large group for a significant Birthday Party and a ticketed function of a "silent" disco. This in no way detracted from the comprehensive standard of service we received in the restaurant. The staff who were waiting table (Karen and Naomi) were so welcoming, friendly and made us feel like valued guests, an intrinsic quality which made for a very relaxing, enjoyable meal. It is certainly on my radar the next time we do a theatre trip in Torquay! Thank you all so very much Sue and Phil Johns Now re resident in Plymouth not Bulgaria!

Property was everything we could of asked for and more, very spacious bedrooms which accommodated all of our travelling party, the location was just far enough away from the pier/city centre as was within walking distance yet was located in a quiet part which allowed the kinds to wind down with ease. Hosts were in contact regularly checking everything was fine which was lovely, Have seen some reviews regarding the hot tub being over looked which is baffling really as i never noticed anyone looking out the windows nor would it of bothered me as it was a great added feature we all loved. was our first time in paignton and we all ready can’t wait to come back will definitely be staying here again even if we don’t take the kids, just wish we had seen it sooner as would of booked it for when we attend electric bay too. Thankyou for having us x

Amazing location as you're close to alot of tourist locations and shops but far enough away to switch off and have peace and tranquility listening to the birds and watching the sheep whilst reading a book and enjoying a drink of your choice. The hut itself is well laid out and maximizes the internal dimensions of said hut with a super comfy bed, great kitchen facilities and well laid out bathroom with a reasonably sized shower with great pressure and hot as you like water. The hot tub was an added bonus to relax after a long day of walking. We met one of the hosts on arrival and was greeted with a warm and friendly welcome and came across very approachable if we was to have any queries or questions during our stay (which we didn't). Whether you're looking for an isolated location away from typical coastal hotels/b&bs with great access to beaches/costal towns or somewhere to relax and switch off after long walks along the south west coastal paths or Dartmoor national park then this place is a must. My only regret is not asking one of the hosts if there was availability for 3rd night before leaving. Me, my wife & dog will definitely be returning.

The hotel is perfect. We had a spacious family room with an amazing view over Torquay Bay. The breakfast was fantastic, and the staff were so helpful with my gluten free diet. We will definitely be going back to stay in the near future.

The hotel was really lovely in an ideal situation, on the sea front of Paignton. The room was plenty big enough with everything we needed. The bathroom was perfect. Lovely shampoo, shower gel,body lotion and soap provided. All the staff we met were really friendly and professional. The bar area was good with entertainment on the Monday night which was very good. The dining room was very pleasant and the food was excellent 👌🏼 😋 well cooked devious meals served with a smile. The swimming pool was a good size too for a relaxing spa treat.

We had a really relaxing break, all staff were very helpful, and anticipated what you needed. We particularly liked the table service at breakfast, much nicer than the help yourself buffets that many hotels now offer. The outdoor space was a bonus, lovely sun loungers around the pool, and seating areas on the terrace. Our room was spacious and very comfy. We will definitely be returning
