The property is an old manor that has been tastefully converted to a hotel. The staff we dealt with were all very warm and friendly, offering tips and advice for local areas and landmarks to visit. The meals we had were also superb.

Cabin was lovely & spacious even for the 3 of us, the hot tub and fire pit was a great way to relax too!

Melfort Village is set in a lochside location, 24 km from Oban. Furnace is 23 km away. The units include a dining/seating area with a satellite flat-screen TV.

We had a fabulous 5 night stay at Melfort village. The accommodation was very well equipped and they even offer extra equipment such as slow cookers. It's quiet and in a beautiful location. They called us the week before to make sure we brought everything we needed with us as the nearest supermarket is 30 minutes away in Oban. We also booked massages for our last day - highly recommended! I would recommend Melfort Village for a quiet, secluded, self catering break.

The location of the property was so peaceful and beautiful. Wonderful hosts, including the dog. The hot tub was ready for us when we arrived and we were made to feel so welcome. When you drive into the estate, keep going you will get there, it's a little further than you think but the scenery is fantastic. Would highly recommend.

The location was out of town overlooking the water and off shore islands. The sunset was spectacular. Easy walking distance to nearby pub and restaurant.
