Derek and Eta were so helpful and friendly. We stayed on the top floor with a beach view. The beds were so comfy and we enjoyed the hot tub. Will definitely come back.

Our stay here was nothing short of brilliant. What truly sets this hotel apart is its team. Every single staff member we encountered, from the housekeeping to the restaurant staff, was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to make our trip special. The facilities were excellent, and our room was quiet and peaceful. My stay at this hotel was truly fantastic, thanks to its outstanding amenities. everything about the cottage was exceptional; it was clean accessible and contemporary; the cottage is finished to high standard with all your everyday appliances. love that it was eco friendly to reduce our carbon footprint. the setting was perfect the view over the hills were phenomenal. Stayed here for just under a week and couldn’t fault it one bit. We were greeted by Vanessa shortly after arriving who immediately made us feel so welcome. Vanessa also went out of her way to make us a beautiful lemon drizzle cake which went down a treat along with the bottle of Prosecco. Despite the weather we were still able to enjoy the jacuzzi, as well as the fireplace which made it feel like a home away from home. Although the house does have central heating which was more than enough, the fire added character to the room making it feel so much cozier. The cottage was immaculate and wasn’t shy of a single facility to accommodate us for our stay. The cottage is only a 7 minute drive away from Cockermouth town which was perfect for a spot of shopping. When we did decide to venture out Vanessa kindly provided us with a list of places to visit with breathtaking scenery. It was so lovely to have spent such a relaxing week in such a beautiful cottage and can’t wait to visit again in the near further.
