Dimitra is amazing and a great host. The apartment was infused and furbished with a lot of love and attention to detail, it felt really homey compared to a lot of other, more plastic places. It is close to the town, it has a couple of places to eat nearby.

This is our second time visiting Kiani Beach and the first time with our young child. It did not disappoint. The facilities are great and looked after very well. The whole place is very clean. The restaurants offer good choices for all tastes. The staff look after you very well. The VIP upgrade is worth it if you plan on drinking cocktails (3 a day covers the cost) or using the spa or will be a heavy user of the Wi-Fi.

Then in front of a beautiful sandy beach, well organized entertainment program, endless buffet with great variety of food and delicious local recipies, extremely friendly personnel willing to assist with anything. We experienced true hospitality during our holiday! The resort is beautiful, with amazing views both from the rooms as well as the common spaces and pools. Most members of the staff were warm hearted and genuinely took good care of us! Checking was breeze, the front desk staff arranged things while we enjoyed refreshments (they even upgraded us without asking - recognizing that we were regular Marriott Bonvoy customers). When we went off the property the arranged our visit including the taxi back. The team at breakfast was amazing!! Agyro welcomed us with a smile and made sure we had reservations for dinner and even gave us recommendations if we were going off the property. Elsa and Aggeliki were especially sweet to our son going above and beyond! They have 3 pools 1 for adults, 1 shallow pool for babies and 1 for families. They also have direct access to the Aegean sea with beds looking onto the sea. At the poolside Chrsitina was especially helpful and took special care of our son. Last but not the least Manos the director of operations was ever present and made sure that our stay was awesome!

Our stay was wonderful from start to finish. The staff was very friendly and helpful. A big thank you specifically to Chris, Vaso and Evi for their warm welcome, their generosity and their help in planning our visit of the island. The breakfast was delicious and the portions were very generous. We very much appreciated enjoying our breakfast in our room or next to our private pool with a wonderful view of the port and the old town. Our room was clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. We were also touched by the champagne bottle and the massage session that were offered to us by the hotel as a honeymoon gift. We also wanted to thank Maria Manaroli for the wonderful massage and for her professionalism. In a nutshell, our stay couldn't have been any better and we would surely come back on our next visit of Chania.

    Comfortable room, spacious and nice view. Plenty of food variety at all meals. Lots of space to sunbathe, no need to hurry to bag a deckchair! The spa was great, plenty to choose from and a great service provided.

    Great location right on the beach , near to beachside restaurants 50 - 100 metres to the right and right in the small town centre for more restaurants, cafes and supermarket. Kalyves is a very relaxed place , retaining a traditional feeling not touristy in the slightest. Mixture of nationalities , French, German, Polish, British, Israelis and more. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Two nice swimming pools outdoor and one indoor pool in the spa. Water was a bit chilly but was mid may so not surprising.

    The property has two main areas, which both had restaurants, outdoor baths, kids clubs etc. The outdoor pools are not heated but this was compensated by a large and warm indoor pool. The hotel room was spacious. The restaurants offered a nice selection, the food varied a bit from day to day.

    The hotel was lovely! Our room was great. We had a maisonette for four people which was very well designed. Good air conditioning, two bathrooms and two outside spaces. The swimming pools were really nice and you could get sun beds at any time of the day which was brilliant. I loved being able to lay on a sunbed in the pool area looking out to sea! The beach was small but Sandy and perfection swimming. The hotel is in a lovely peaceful location so we had a very relaxing holiday.
