The property is super clean, beautifully kept, great rooms, a nice bar, two lovely pools and across the road to a beach. The staff are wonderful particularly the reception lady who was genuinely interested in your experience and fantastic at making your stay the best. It was my first solo holiday and I booked it by accident. What a Great accident! This trip has given me back the confidence to travel alone. The hotel is geared towards giving you the choice of making friends or enjoying your own company. The people were lovely and I ended up going on a great trip with them. There is a mixture of ages but of course its luck so just go with an open mind as I did. As someone who travels a lot alone but never to a solo hotel it was brilliant to be around like minded people who you could go places with. It’s a little outside of the town which was not a problem at all as it’s a short bus ride anywhere. There is a reason so many people go back and I definitely will as well!!! If you go with an open mind you will have a fantastic time!!!

We can´t recommend Cretan Dream Resort and Spa highly enough. We have stayed in many 4 and 5 stars hotels all over the world and this is our best experience! The manager and all of the staff are the most precious gems of the hotel. They did absolutely everything for us! You feel like you are staying with a big Cretan family and they treat you royal. You truly feel that they do care about you, your wellbeeing and how your stay is. Even though we were demanding and difficult guests at times they handled it very professionally and kindly. We are very thankful for that. The food is very good, paired with excellent wines, the pool area is fabulous with great views over the ocean, relaxing and not crowded. In the beautiful spa area we got the best massage ever so we highly recommend having treatments there. In the evenings they sometimes have theme dinners and shows that are fun. We give this hotel six stars of five possible or ten out of ten :). We hope to come back soon and will recommend it to eveyone travelling to Crete. Perfect Stay by the Beach – Thanks to Maria! We stayed at Ostrakon Suites in Agia Marina for a week in July and loved it. The room was large, very clean, and had everything we needed – plus a stunning view over the beach, which is just steps away. What truly made our stay special was Maria. She was incredibly helpful and kind, giving us all the information we needed about restaurants, sights, car rentals, and activities. The cleaning lady was also lovely and kept our room spotless. Breakfast was at Me Gusta restaurant, they offered breakfast and also served fantastic and very delicious food with a stunning view. For breakfast, we could choose from three options, and we went with the European breakfast. While it was tasty, I would have preferred a buffet to have more variety during the week – especially to try some Greek breakfast options. The best part of the hotel is Maria. If she’s still there, I know exactly where I’ll stay next time I visit Agia Marina. Highly recommend!

Fantastic pool and outside seating/dining areas. More than enough comfortable sun beds and the sunset view from the pool was just amazing. The location was perfect 5-10 minute walk into the town where there are an array of shops, bars and restaurants. The long and beautiful beach is approx 15 minute walk from the property. Thank you to George & Silvia who were the perfect hosts, so kind, warm and welcoming and not forgetting our cleaner Joanna.

It was exactly what I did expect. Beautiful beach, clean and cozy suites. Good food and service. There are few places that you can visit but if you are like me and don't want to move you can spend the entire vacation inside the hotel perimeter. At the Galini Private served breakfast at the morning buffet breakfast.

    The room is very spacious and newly renovated. It is clean with 2 balconies and we loved the jacuzzi on the roof, we were mostly alone there with no other people besides us. We loved how colorful the whole place was. The bus stop is very near where you can get a bus directly to Chania that comes every 20 min so the place is very well connected. There are also a lot of restaurants nearby and also a beach.
