Our stay in this beautiful suite in Crete was a joy from start to finish! The owner, an epitome of Cretan warmth and generosity, effortlessly turned our visit into a wonderful experience. The suite was impeccably clean, surprisingly spacious and unbelievably comfortable. To top it all, we were delighted with a complimentary upgrade, an unforgettable gesture that speaks volumes of the owner's hospitality. She even assisted us with our travel arrangements on our last day, assuring we made it to our ferry in time. In short, this is not just a place to stay, it's a delightful experience. It's about a home away from home, a place where the heart of Crete shines brightly through its amazing host. Highly recommended and looking forward to our return!

This is a DREAM location. The view is absolutely fantastic. Fantastic privacy. Your own swimming pool facing the kite surfers golf. Giannis welcomes you with the best natural and bio products. He surprised us for several times during our stay with the best figs and prickly pears (opuntia cactus fruits) from his own garden. And cookies. And olive oil. And orange juice. And some ice cold beers in the fridge. And orange jam and fresh bread. And...I am sure I forgot many other products. From your own jacuzzi and/or swimming pool you can contemplate the Kouremenos beach and valley while planning your next day trips. I repeat because also for us was not 100% clear until we arrived: you park your car, close the gate and you have everything only for you. One conclusion: FA-BU-LOUS!

Location overlooking the sea and sunset was incredible. House itself is very comfortable and has a great layout for any family or group. All facilities were in working order, we had more than we could have wished for in terms what we needed for the week's stay.

Sitia Bay lies on the blue flag sandy beach, a 5-minute walk from the town centre and features a pool surrounded by a flowered garden.

On the beach itself. Sea View. Exceptional staff, with attitude and attention to guests. Very clean. The center is a minute's walk away. Very quiet and cozy hotel. We arrived by bus much earlier at 10.30am. As soon as there was a free room, they accommodated us immediately without making us wait until 2:00 p.m. I would gladly return to this hotel. Really professional and above all friendly and humane attitude towards hotel guests.

The property was located in the center, meters away from the main port and the heart of this beautiful city. The hotel itself is like finding a diamond in the rough as it is one of a kind for Sitia. It has all the luxury accommodations you would find in large hotel chains, and even exceeds them. The room was spacious, very modern and was equipped with both a full spa/Jacuzzi and a steam room. I enjoyed the stay and highly recommend anyone that enjoys a this part of the island to stay in this lovely hotel with eyes closed.

The apartment is stunning and luxuriously appointed. It has everything you need plus way more. The little touches, like the full fridge on arrival, the umbrella and cool box arranged for a beach trip, the home cooked meal delivered to your room, the staff attention and helpfulness sets this place above other stays. The apartment is really well decorated and furnished. It has everything you might need and more. A big plus is it has free parking space. But what made it an exceptional stay was the hospitality, which is one of a kind. It felt like we were visiting family- Polydoros, his lovely family and their pets know how to balance the attention and they respect their guests very much. Polydoros and his lovely mother were always accessible and checking how our experience was but they were never overwhelming. We were looking for a relaxing week where we escaped from hectic work life and Bella Mare provided exactly that. Polydoros‘s detailed suggestions list also really helped us because we didn’t have to sift through social media suggestions. We chose an option from his list based on how we were feeling for the day- and they did not disappoint. Overall, the hosts love their home and their town; they do their best to help you experience from their eyes.
