The owner Mate greeted us with words that we have everything here. In fact, we got more. Peace and quiet and amazing views are what captivated us the most. Villa Mate has all the amenities and a great location. The proximity to the sea (10 minutes walk) and a wonderful bay where we spent a wonderful time. Mate is a wonderful host, he made us a delicious dinner twice, seafood and fish. Mate is ready to do a lot for his guests. It was a great vacation.

This last minute accommodation booking turned out to be the cherry on top for our overall stay in Croatia. This property is so beautiful, comfortable and surprisingly affordable. The host was very welcoming, attentive and friendly. Would recommend this place to anyone and quite frankly wouldn’t mind coming back.

The photos are a true reflection of this beautiful villa. Stunning location, luxury rooms and scenic views wherever you look. We had a very warm welcome (and farewell) from our host who was easily contactable throughout our stay. It's in a very private location on the hillside, which makes for a relaxed and peaceful break, but is also just a 10 min walk down the hill to a small store and a few bars and restaurants where we enjoyed drinks, pizzas and a delicious traditional meal (in D'oro). Orebic and larger supermarkets are a 30 min drive away so ideally a car is needed. The whole villa is beautifully decorated and is well equipped with everything you need for a self catering break - and the winery next door is a real bonus! The overall layout gives you numerous places to sit in the sun or shade, all with stunning views and well maintained gardens. The 3 rooms are all in their own little areas so nice and private. It lists a 'sofa bed' in one room but it was a huge double and so much better than expected. There are steep steps down to the sea with direct, private access to swim over the rocks if you're brave enough, but there is a tiny beach a minute walk away if you prefer which we did enjoy. The infinity pool is fabulous and just the right size with the whirlpool - but it is up some steps away from the main patio so we would definitely say this villa is more of a relaxing adult vacation. Loved it and hope to be back.

The Villa is superb. Tho owner is very helpful. Everything went very easy, without any problems. The Villa is excellent and has an own beach 10 m from the house. I recommend to everyone. Everything is like in the pictures or much more better. I recommend to big families too. I hope we can come back next year. One of the best places where i had summer holiday in Croatia!!!

It's in a very private location on the hillside, which makes for a relaxed and peaceful break, but is also just a 10 min walk down the hill to a small store and a few bars and restaurants where we enjoyed drinks, pizzas and a delicious traditional meal (in D'oro). Orebic and larger supermarkets are a 30 min drive away so ideally a car is needed. The whole villa is beautifully decorated and is well equipped with everything you need for a self catering break - and the winery next door is a real bonus! The overall layout gives you numerous places to sit in the sun or shade, all with stunning views and well maintained gardens. The 3 rooms are all in their own little areas so nice and private. It lists a 'sofa bed' in one room but it was a huge double and so much better than expected. There are steep steps down to the sea with direct, private access to swim over the rocks if you're brave enough, but there is a tiny beach a minute walk away if you prefer which we did enjoy. The infinity pool is fabulous and just the right size with the whirlpool - but it is up some steps away from the main patio so we would definitely say this villa is more of a relaxing adult vacation. Loved it and hope to be back.
