Perhaps I have never slept in such a comfy bed as here. The flat was newly renovated/built and it was quite clean. Dushanka and Damir were really great hosts. Though we spent one night in the house only, they welcomed us with local delicacies: prosciuttio (smoked ham), cheese, freshly baked bread, juice, candies, fresh fruits, spirit, etc. We loved the endless silence, the voice of wildlife, the fresh air, and the Milky Way was so bright from the terrace as I saw it from the village I grew up in decades ago. Most of the travelers go to the Croatian coasts for vacation and miss visiting the intrinsic mountainous regions of the country. However, these amazing geological formations deserve much more attention. This was our third visit in the Velebits, so we already knew the beauty of this land, but still, this is definitely a place where we need to come back in the future.

Absolutely stunning! I stayed here during my gravel bike tour in the area. The owners are very helpful and friendly, communication was super easy. The house with the terrace, garden, jacuzzi and the stunning view of Dinara mountain is a jewel. The house had everything, including blankets if you want to it outside in the evening for longer, coffee tabs, solar-powered candles, a BBQ, a jacuzzi (!!) ....everyhting in and around the house seems to have been arranged and decorated with love. You can sit outside even if it would be raining because the terrace has a huge roof and a very cosy and comfy lounge. My highlight was to have dinner outside and to just watch nature and listen to nature and enjoy to just be there. It was difficult to leave this place... will be back for sure!

We had a fantastic stay! It’s the perfect place to unwind and recharge, especially for families. The house is super comfortable and well-equipped, and the outdoor area is great for both relaxing and having fun. We enjoyed the ping pong table, the outdoor gym gear, and pétanque. The host was wonderful — discreet, friendly, and always available if needed. Definitely a place we’d love to return to.
