Our stay was amazing. The hospitality off each and everyone in the staff is increadable and on point. They are genuily interested in making our stay perfect and manage to do so. We recently had the pleasure of sleeping 4 nights at Cicada, and I must say, it was an absolutely extraordinary experience from start to finish. From the moment we walked through the door, we where greeted with warmth and hospitality that set the tone for the entire stay. We started with a welcome drink and ceremony wich made us feel welcome. The room was perfect clean 2 times a day and free water and snacks. The view of the pool and the room was amazing. The food at Tangelo is nothing short of spectacular. Each dish is a work of art on a plate, showcasing not only culinary expertise but also a true passion for gastronomy. The menu is a delightful journey through flavors and textures, with each bite more exquisite than the last. The presentation of the dishes is a testament to the creativity of the chefs, and every meal felt like a carefully crafted masterpiece. But it's not just only the food that makes exceptional; it's the impeccable service. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and incredibly friendly. They go above and beyond to ensure that every guest feels special and well taken care of. Whether you have dietary preferences or specific questions about the menu, they are more than happy to accommodate your needs. The ambiance is another highlight. The decor is elegant and inviting, creating a perfect setting for a memorable dining experience. A beautiful resort in a quiet, scenic location, surrounded by nature and rice fields. The room was comfortable and well cleaned, the pool and the restaurant particularly enjoyable. The staff were all extremely kind, professional, and attentive. Thank you for a very pleasant stay. Absolutely recommend !

“I’ll be back !” Great setting, peaceful and surrounded by lush tropical gardens and luxurious native vegetation. The ‘private’ pool is a long way down the hill with many stairs and the pool overlooks a charming flowing river. The sound of the birds and nature in general was so very soothing and relaxing! The architecture - Joglo house design and wooden structure combined with the rustic nature of the accommodation ticked all the boxes for me!! .., oh and Made and his team are so friendly, accommodating and professional. Rather than plastic bottles, a 25 litre mineral water bottle was provided- making it great for refills and doing their bit to cut down on plastic rubbish. A small kitchen with small stove and refrigerator was so handy - as was the supplied Bali Kope. (No Nescafe instant here!). Nothing like having a few morning Bali kope’s while overlooking the river valley and the cool winter mountain mists rising from the valley floor and then knocking back copious Bintangs in the afternoon. The funky outside bathroom made of glass bottle walls was way cool. Also, the owner - Made will order takeaway and delivery. Just too easy. Can’t make enough positive comments about our stay. The only disappointment was not having booked to stay longer.

We loved our stay with Kadek and his family. We really enjoyed the room. It was so relaxing. Staying at this traditional village was like being back in old Bali. Very friendly people. Kadek and his wife cooked for us. They made us rice which was harvested the day before! Very special!!

Hotel was just amazing. Spa was just magical, food for breakfast and dinner was excellent. Generally it exceeded our expectation. For every our need crew of the hotel was reacting very fast. Especially Reno. If I knew what how good is this hotel I would cancel all other bookings in Bali and just stay with them.

Tranquil view, mix of forest and paddy field. We enjoyed floating breakfast on our rooftop jacuzzi. The hanging net at the balcony gave another experience. Dinner was provided, we did not have to hustle ordering from outside. The staff are the friendliest, they helped us carry our things and are responsive. The flower decoration on the floor for our special occasion was an added value we appreciate. Surely will go back when we visit Ubud again.
