Extremely friendly staff. Although we arrived very late we could still have a drink at the very charming bar. The lodge is very beautiful and is located by beautiful surroundings. The room is very cosy and comfortable. Breakfast is really good.

Great location in the middle of grassland. And it even.has a Jacuzzi, it is pitiful i didn't have time to enjoy it. We are 8 people, this house allowed us to cook. We had a great time there. By the way, it is very close to Skogafoss.

We loved staying there. The cabin is modern furbished, has everything you need. But the best thing for us was relaxing in the jacuzzi and watching the northern lights in front of us.

Great and spacious rooms (we had tried the Japanese inspired junior suite and then 1 night in the large suite), both offered great space (latter with a jacuzzi in the room). Overall excellent service across full experience, great restaurant and beautiful peaceful landscape. Additionally, star gazing observatory is very nice and guide explains the beautiful skyscape. We got super lucky and caught the Northern Lights for over an hour during the star gazing tour!

A nice hotel, a bit fat away from the main street. For ne it was a plus, the hotel is in a really beautiful environment. The staff was extremely friendly and nice. I would recommend to everyone that plans to drive all the ring road and to ehi plans to stay some days for exploring the area.

Linda the host was super friendly and easy with great communication. Before we entered the house, we weren't much impressed as it's a house we have been passing by for the past few days around the island. The moment we were inside, we fell in love with it. It's not a unit to be rented out for income but it's a HOME. A real home of Icelandic, from bed linen to living hall and kitchen you will be able to tell. Thank you so much to Linda for hosting us with her wonderful home. We love it the best among the places we stayed throughout our island tour.
