We had an amazing time in Montalbera; we spent 5 nights there and it’s the perfect location to visit Monferrato. Montalbera has a magnificent view of Montemagno and the surrounding hills and vineyards, which are stunning (you can also walk through the estate thanks to 4 different routes)! We definitely recommend a visit to their wine cellar and a wine tasting. We found that the experts working there were very prepared and knowledgeable (and just really nice and friendly in general), and their wines are produced with care, attention to the territory and innovation (the Ruchè Riserva was our clear favorite). If you stay, we also recommend a bike tour (you can rent e-bikes in Montalbera), which is the best way to see and enjoy the Monferrato’s hills which are stunning and all a bit diverse! Last, but not least, the staff at the check-in will provide your with a useful list of restaurants. Ciao and grazie Montalbera, we hope we’ll come back soon!

We loved the view from the little terrace and the jaccuzi, plus our super attentative host. The breakfast was also lovely (different from your usual Italian style, but in the best possible way). The peace and quiet surroundings and the nice drive through the villages. safe and convenient parking, accesible with lower/ sportcars.
